Chinook Multimedia provides research, web writing, and editing services to the Alberta Learning Information Service (ALIS), a great resource for those planning a career or looking for a job.

We work in collaboration with the content experts and editorial team at ALIS. The ALIS website has more than 4 million visitors a year and is an invaluable source of information for job seekers as well as people planning their education and careers.

Our work involves researching, web writing, and editing:

• Articles—practical information and suggestions on learning, employment, and career topics
• ALIS web pages—education and career resources to high school students, post-secondary students, jobs seekers and others on topics practical information and suggestions on learning, employment, and career topics

In addition, ALIS has extensive resources targeting other audiences, including Aboriginal peoples, mature workers, people with disabilities, and youth between 16 and 24 who are on their own and attempting to manage their education and home and worklives.

MEETING CLIENT EXPECTATIONS

We completed our first year of work for ALIS in March 2015. We have now started work on our year two work, including editing and updating select ALIS website pages and articles and researching and writing new articles. We really enjoy working with the team at ALIS. They provide great editorial plans for our work and valuable feedback.
