After a number of stalled attempts by well-meaning volunteers to update and expand the Loyal Edmonton Regiment website, we decided to go to the professionals. The site looks great.

I’ve worked with Bob and his team at Chinook before on the Loyal Edmonton Regiment Military Museum website and have always received excellent guidance and service. It was, therefore, an easy decision to go with Chinook again for the revisions to the Regiment’s website. Bob took our vision for the expanded site and provided us with a modern design that combined old and new content in a format suitable for all platforms. When the initial test site was put up, requests for minor changes in structure or content were quickly dealt with and we were soon ready to launch the site for all to see. Bob continued to assist with any further fixes needed and provided training on WordPress that will allow us to do basic maintenance on the website ourselves. He and his team continue to stand ready to assist with anything that we can’t handle by ourselves. All of this was done at a very reasonable cost. In fact, I feel we got more for our money than the contract specified.

Based on my experience with Chinook on two websites, I would gladly recommend them to anyone considering building a website.

We found Chinook Multimedia via an Internet search for website development for non-profit organizations. We then approached Chinook Multimedia to discuss our project to rebuild the Club’s existing website. Noting that Chinook were willing to work with non-profit organizations, we were hopeful that Chinook would be able to deliver a quality website within our tight budget.
Bob was very understanding of our requirements and provided valuable advice and recommendations on content, photos and overall web design and a strategy to keep within our budget. He communicates clearly, is easy to understand and was keen to build on ongoing relationship with us.
We are based in Calgary so demos and training on maintenance were handled using webcams that worked out well. When the website was delivered for our review, we were delighted with the results and had only a few suggestions for minor changes. Vasily delivered a training session on the use of Word Press and we are confident that we will be able to maintain the website ourselves. Bob and Vasily made it clear that we can contact them with any questions that arise.

Chinook Multimedia designed and developed the website for our new family medicine clinic. I relied upon Bob's editorial skills to help build our company's website. Bob worked closely with us to understand our business and what it was that we hoped to achieve. I provided the initial draft text. Bob researched competitor websites and keywords and edited and copyedited the text I provided. From 2009 to 2012, I was the Provincial Coordinator of the Province of Alberta Investigative Skills Program (ISEP). ISEP is a blended learning program designed to deliver standardized police investigative training for police agencies operating within the Province of Alberta.
Chinook Multimedia initially became involved as a primary service provider for the development of many of our entry level on-line training modules. As our relationship grew, so did our trust in Chinook to provide an excellent product on time and on budget. Over time, Chinook became an integral part in the development of some of our more complex advanced specialized investigative training modules. We found the range of services offered by Chinook allowed us to fully engage Bob Hesketh and his team from concept to delivery of highly sought after on-line training modules, now being accessed by police officers across Canada.
Chinook did an excellent job of working with various police subject matter experts and curriculum designers, to evaluate our needs and follow up with a wide range of programming options from in-depth on-line scenarios, to quiz development and final exams designed to ensure that candidates mastered the course learning objectives.
Chinook also assisted in the use of embedded videos, voice overs and other media to enhance the learning experience. Their copyediting of storyboards for multiple modules brought about a professional and consistent language, used throughout our modules.

Bob played an instrumental role in the development of this web site. The teams he lead took the vision of the museum and through collaboration (in both the original and renewed site) produced a web site that is one of the premier military history sites in Canada – recognized by the Royal Military College as a qualified history resource. The web site includes: The Regimental History, Canadian Military History, and the Canadian Military History Chronology.
During both of the phases of the website work I was the museum's team lead and found Bob to be a knowledgeable and focussed leader who was very easy to work with. Bob Hesketh... did the initial editing of all contributions for the usual concerns such as clarity of thesis statement and development, length, changing ambiguous terminology and references and ensuring the appropriate level for the intended audience.
